Flor de D'Crossier Selection No. 512

Brand History and Facts

The D’Crossier Cigars brand was created in 2007 by Isaias Santana Diaz, and named after his great-grandfather, Francisco Crossier. The young Isaias, while living in Havana, Cuba, was inspired by the family’s long history in the tobacco industry and his great-grandfather’s passion for fine cigars. In 2014, Isaias Santana Diaz added Flor de D’Crossier Selection to his product assortment. The first batch of these cigars was produced in Costa Rica under the supervision of the Ferrer family. Two years later, production moved to La Gran Fabrica Tabacos ABAN CIGARS S.R.L, in the Dominican Republic, under the supervision of the Maragoto family.

Characteristics of Flor de D’Crossier

Characterized by a robust taste that has always been favored by traditionalists, the Flor de D’Crossier comes at a very affordable price point and is designed to be enjoyed by anyone who appreciates quality in a flavorful cigar. All cigars have been made totalmente a mano. Medium and semi-robust in nature, these cigars feature an unmistakable flavor profile, slightly earthy, aromatic, and semi-tangy flavour that is blended with fruit sweetness and semi-toasted tobacco for a unique taste. Flor de D’Crossier Selections have been aged for one year. They are not highly tannic and can become extremely smooth in 2 to 4 years, ageing well. Packed in tins of 20 cigars, the attractive containers feature Spanish cedar wood on the inside, adding to the aroma. All three sizes in both Selections are small vitolas, ranging from 44 ring gauge to 48 ring gauge. They are protected with breathable cellophane and barcoded to facilitate retail sales. Tins are airtight, capped and sealed to prolong humidity and ageing.
